Retired Trustee Election 2015

The ballots have been counted for the Retired Employee Trustee to the General Retirement System of the City of Detroit for the term beginning July 1, 2015 and expiring June 30, 2017.

Nine thousand one hundred ninety four (9,194) ballots were mailed to eligible voters on Monday, April 27, 2015. The Authorizing Party provided the Administrator, the American Arbitration Association, with lists of persons who were eligible to vote.

To be counted, ballots had to be received by the Administrator no later than 5 p.m. Monday, May 11th, 2015.

The counting of the ballots took place in the presence of observers at the Law Offices of Mark Cousens, 26261 Evergreen Road, Suite 110 in Southfield, Michigan on Monday, May 18th, 2015.

The Administrator received three thousand one hundred four (3,104) envelopes. Forty-eight (48) envelopes were neither opened or counted for the following reasons:

Secrecy of the ballots were maintained at all times. The results have been certified as follows:
